After my last post, I had attended two bellydance festivals, SAMEDA and Rhaqsira, where I performed and took classes. My reviewing Teel Technique for 3 months paid off for my Gala show performance, because I was able to do my more advanced routine and it went really great!
My troupe also shot our Scaretacular dance film, it's for a bigger story line, we are just a "short story" inside a bigger tale. I am really proud of our piece, I'm hoping it fits in well and is a great overall show. That will debut in October.
This weekend is EASA for Shimmy Mob, which concludes the 2025 Shimmy Mob events, and then we need to film our next dance video for Amustela in October. I'm doing a solo at a showcase but I don't really have staging information so I'm hoping it goes OK. She gave us 5-10 minutes so I made a 10 minute set and I hope that's OK.
November looks to be very busy with at least 3 shows, perhaps 4 happening that month and many elements to those shows including solos and group pieces.
